The pump has a long cord but the cord is made onto the pump. The cord is long enough that you don’t have to be right under an outlet to use. When it needs to be replaced, a pump with a cord included will be needed rather than just a pump.
Cons
It is difficult to get the top lid secure. Even when it is the water would overfill and not drain back into the machine through the drainage slot like it was supposed to.

Its not really a problem for this to be a bit big for my cat since it means i dont have to watch the levels as carefully but it does take up more room that some cat fountains
