This litter box is awesome! In my opinion it’s worth every penny. This litter & system is crazy cat lady gold!
The silica based litter is easy to clean because it cleans itself, no more scooping. I sprinkle in deodorizing powder with each new fill up of crystals.
If there's a really terrible smell after the cat has pooped, we just tap the manual button so the raking will start immediately. Prepare to push the button to run the rake, especially after a smelly deposit.
The sleeper cab in a semi truck gives a new definition to tiny house living. The original system & mechanism works the best for me right now. All in all, pros and cons.
Cons
The litter stinks. There is no way to take this litter box apart to deeply clean it and the rake has become sticky and quite frankly, just poopy. The urine sits in the tray and the poop gets swept to tiny collection area.

I have one cat that is less than 5 pounds the litter smells awful after 18 days

The refill trays are too expensive to buy for twice a month so i’m going to try the refill tray and see how it goes
