It's so easy to pop in and out. But, bonnie loves it. Another thing to consider. That the only downside.
All kidding aside, this is a great product. The pet door magnet seems to work well for light wind. My cats were used to going in and out the cat door to the lanai at the old house.
Super easy to install. Can install permanently or temporary. At my age, i had my handy man do it.
Cons
The door flap is adjustable but most positions creates gaps which allow small bits of air to move. The provided weather stripping isn't great (poor thickness). Missing door latch, weather stripping, screws and product manual.
The design is kind of a hassle. It isn’t easy to install. Also, the lock is a total joke.

When the wind blows you will get some dust if it rains you would probably get some water if the door is exposed to the elements

Expect bugs to get in not through the dog door but come the slider it comes with a door sweeper to block the gap between the sliders that this creates

It was easy to install we added rubber insulation stripping so that when our sliding door met the pet door it was sealed
