The only problem that i’ve found is that there isn’t really a confirmation that the collar receiver is working unless your dog responds except for the blinking red light and we had forgotten to plug it in one night so we didn’t notice that the battery was dead

There aren’t very good instructions for the receiver but the main function you need is just to turn it on so it isn’t a big issue
