Pros

This tb is a little wider than my last one which i like. Another thing to remember is to clean out the dust & lint particles by removing the red trackball, it's fast n easy.

The perimice-717 wireless trackball mouse is a decent trackball mouse. The mouse sits either on a sofa cushion or a sofa arm. Replaced my dead logitech m570 that was discontinued.

The whole surface has a rubberized matte texture to it. The mouse wheel is a little clicky when it scrolls - that's fine too.

Cons

Even trying to use the click-scrolling of the mouse wheel is a challenge. The biggest problem is the scroll wheel. This mouse is not accurate enough to handle the point-to-point selection in close range.

The new perixx track ball has issue's with roller ball. It's not near as smooth as the logitech trackman roller ball. Either doesn't move the cursor at all, or, in the same small amount of movement of the ball, the cursor teleports over a bunch of pix... Read More

Trackball absolutely stinks. The life of the unit is not. Its totally useless. Got annoyed with it, even after cleaning the trackball several times.
