after checking the other reviews on youtube, i decided to order this monitor.in my case i purchased from bizbuy, and they were able to ship directly to europe (cool!). the monitor was very well packed and arrived well.the monitor is huge! you will need a big desk and probably will no longer need, or have room for, two monitors. the overall width of the monitor is just under 27.5 or 70 cm.very important: this monitor will only work with a computer that supports a Dual-Link DVI connection and 2560x1600 resolution. this monitor does *not* have any other inputs such as HDMI, DisplayPort, etc. -- by eliminating the other input types, it helps to reduce the cost of the monitor. if you are using a modern Mac, you will need the Apple mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI adapter, part MB571Z/A, which is a bit pricy at $99.00 but it works well.i ordered the slightly more expensive pixel perfect version, which is allowed a couple defects, but in my case the monitor is indeed defect-free, yay :)the stand is very basic (black glass with a clear border area) but looks nice; i am using a book to increase the hight slightly, or i might add a VESA stand at a later date.the screen area is matte but the frame is glossy (piano-black). the glossy frame might be a slight nuisance for some people. the other minor nuisance item is the external power brick. i haven't found the OSD menu yet (if there is one!). there is a direct control of the brightness with an up and down button, and the max brightness is very good, comparable to my 350 nits monitor.i don't have any fancy test-tools but standard text and 1080p videos both look great. i believe one of the youtube videos talks about gaming performance. in any case, a great value for a 30 monster monitor, if it is compatible with your computer.this will hopefully be my last 2560x1600 monitor until UHD (3840xSomething) or 4k (4096xSomething) monitors become affordable, which may take a little while. UHD / 4k also require newer computers or display cards, so the upgrade cycle never ends...cheersupdate 1:monitor still running great, but had an error message on a mac playing HDCP content from iTunes (iTunes claims the monitor does not support HDCP and will not play protected videos on it). not sure if this is due to the monitor or the Apple adapter (see above), still need to investigate.
