To add further rigidity because my bath is acrylic and therefore its easy to do i drilled a hole through the bottom of the smaller rigid section into the bath where the pivoting section attaches to it and secured it in place with a self tapping screw it means the rigid part doesnt move at all when you open and close the screen

It hasnt made any difference to the screen at all so im not worried

Lovely peice of kit considering the price was impressed with finish and looksseem worse for a lot more money
