    I purchased these for closeup viewing for use at the zoo particularly for seeing birds and fish in indoor enclosures and to look closely at birds at our darken oneway screen window feeder

    You can clearly see tiny splinters in your own hand with these closeup viewing binoculars and it is remarkable all you can see

    You can focus in on small live objectsspecimens out in the field and you will not even disturb them

    We got these binoculars because we have snakes that hide out in the rocks around our backyard pondwaterfall

    However the house is only about 20 feet away from the pond so regular binoculars are too distorted
