I dont know if it needs 500ma but i took a leap of faith and trusted that like most power supplies that it would allow the pedal to draw the amperage it needs

And i didnt knock the rating because i didnt double check this first there is no onoff switch

Also the acdc switching adapter that comes with it does not sit flush against the power strip and leans out of the receptacle
