Haven't had problems with sturdiness yet. They're probably the sturdiest, portable stand. It has the durability and stability of a nice music stand, but way more convenient to transport!
It’s like playing with a transformers toy when i set i up. Easy to assemble.
This stand is no piece of junk. It is so easy to use and so durable! Very worth the purchase and price.
Cons
Plastic folding desk is not durable at all. If your only holding music then it is fine. Anything heavier like a binder or full show book it is not connected well enough. Am glad it didn't happen on a gig.

I have a folding stand i have had for years that i bought from guitar center for 25 or 30 dollars and it was the best folding wire stand ive had but this stand is no comparison

Wireframe style stands are lightweight compact and overall extremely portable but anyone thats attempted to use one will know just how painful they are

If you have more than a few pages or heavens forbid a tablet of some kind you can count on it to fall over break or possibly poke a hole through an unsuspecting folder

So the alternative is a more classicstyle stand with a single piece of metal as the tray but now you have a heavy unweildy stand that while sturdy does no favors to that car door you accidentally dented while lugging all of your music supplies around
