Pros & Cons
Pros
I love how secure the rig is and have 100% trust in it. Takes some practice releasing the camera. Plastic red locking button is week part of design.
Perfectly machined and premium looking. This solves all of those problems. A very nicely designed and executed piece of gear.
The fuji x-t2/ x100f holds a 24-240mm lens comfortably with no movement. Clamped to the back of a backpack or belt. Holds a larger 300mm lens+camera+gopro wasn't an issue at all.
try attaching base to different strap locations. I wish they sold padding options for the back clipor a sewing kit with a strap.
The clip fits easily on all of my baby carriers, even the ones with a thick, padded shoulder strap. Bigger packs are thicker.
Cons
The plate that mounts to your camera is too heavy. It gets in the way, and i did not know about that. Worked great for three days with my nikon d810, easy to use and very convenient. Under real-world conditions the camera plate often jams while slidin... Read More
Product is awesome on the belt or shoulder strap, but i'm very disappointed with the tripod rig failure. Can't close the latch (see photo). The screws included aren't very long so to latch on to anything above a minimal thickness, you need to only par... Read More
Idea is excellent but lack execution in my experience. Very disconcerting on a photo shoot. Will be returning, really wanted to like the product. This is really disappointing.

I was impressed by the quality and craftsmanship of this clip
My only issue with the product and hence the 4 stars out of 5 is the absence of padding on the back side of the plate
So i gave this a try combined with the peak design hand strap
Price
I would give this 5 stars but the price is a little steep
Packaging/appearance
It is not compatible with all rc2 tripods out of the box
I took one star away due to having to adust it to fit just right on the pack strap it wasnt easy to make it perfectly horizontal
Competitiveness
Work well after modification to adapt to manfrotto tripod head
I bought this to use with my daypack on the shoulder strap
On my manfrotto xpro fluid head the plate was still too small and not compatible
Weve needed a way to carry the camera nikon d3300 on hikes and adventures without it bouncing around on a strap
