Quality
We've played it with the kids aged 9 and 11, and they are loving it.
As with all their games it's adorable and high quality.
It is easy to identify the cards that need to be removed if you’ve only got two players, and same with the extra challenging cards.

We’re a big pandemic family, so i was excited to see this matt leacock game geared toward a younger audience.

I almost did not buy this game because my 5 year old tends to prefer more visually appealing games than this one and i thought there was less to the game than there is.

Also the players really do have to strategize together if they are going to win.

The one minor criticism i have is that if 3 or 4 bad cards are drawn fairly close together the whole game can go from going well to un salvageable.

You can use some strategy to minimize the risk of finding yourself in a pretty much impossible to win game, but even with adults playing you will lose about 20% of time simply because a few bad cards are drawn in short succession and/ or one or more of the mole rats ends up dancing around needed objects or ladders for multiple turns because the cards that could get the mole rat where they need to go are just not being drawn.

Like i said that is a minor criticism and does not keep this game from being one of my 5 year olds favorites.

I think this would even be fun with all adults.
