They make it really easy to dial in the three colors to get what you are in the mood for. Works great if tt plugged in giving you about 13. Using this dimmer for cockpit lighting in aircraft.

The knurl nut has a shoulder that can self center in a 3/8” hole. This is the size hole i drilled in my plastic mounting plate. They have an off dent when turned all the way down (awesome).

The twist connector is a great accessory if you do not have wire connectors or if you don't know how to solder. The switch for the lights on the control panel triggers the one control module to provide voltage for the led lights.
