Pros

Metal crimps holding the base with the pins down--it seems potentially sturdier than those with plastic housing. Coated tips lessens the risk of brush burn.

I recommend the small brush if you have a smallish dog whose hair isn’t too thick. While the pins look insubstantial, they are so far staying in the brush. Please educate yourself on how to use a slicker brush properly before using this on an animal.

Cons

The brush is very stiff and pokey. The bristles are too far spaced to really get any hair off. One is tight and curly, the other is wavy and loose. The bristle is smaller which makes them dangerous to use.

They are not afraid of it and it really detangles very well compared to other slicker brushes around the same price point i have used

This is a great product at a fraction of the price compared with the big name brands

With other slicker brushes i found the bristles weret quite long enough to get down to the skin
