This size is for portable on-the-go artwork. All i need is a few watercolor pencils; a water-filled brush; mechanical pencil; and waterproof pen in my fanny pack with the journal and i'm ready to go.

All the sheets are glued together along all the edges. The binding is too difficult to separate the pages on the block and even with a tool. It is also significantly more difficult to remove each sheet from the watercolor block and leaves remnants of ... Read More
The paper feels like cheap cellulose paper that pills up right away. The glue is absolutely unnecessary. The paint seems to get stuck/absorbed too much by the paper and ends up looking like bad marker coloring rather than nice watercolor.
Even the "cheap" sketchbooks i've bought are better than this. For one book i expect them to be clean and not scuffed and ripped.

It’s a fine enough travel block for painting but this is the second pink book i’ve bought that was supposed to have a pink strap around it but came with a big ugly black one

I take a lot of time to complete a painting and some paper brands are not compatible with lengthy periods of painting which i’ve always found frustrating because the stuff is not cheap
