Pros

Great quality cable. Worked like a charm! No store around me carries these in 2019 so i'm glad there was a cheap option online. Made of decent quantity materials, connections are solid.

Not a bad thing to have on hand when connecting two machines over firewire from different eras. Plugged this into an old 2011 mac mini and the other into an even older presonus fp10. Worked with a mac mini's fw800 port to connect a fw400 peripheral.

Cons

Throwing in trash, too late to return, etc.
