There was also a shipping problem due to amazon so i contacted the seller and their customer service was great

Also this product does signal conversion and decoding from digital to analog if you buy a unit just 1 of the 2 functions it probably wont work

My 1st device stopped working after 14 months they made an exception and replaced it even though the warranty period is 12 months

The great thing is that it preserves the older analog dolby surround formats so that coding is not lost during the conversion

It annoys me so much so that i almost removed 2 stars but it is a useful device so i gave it 4 stars

The hissssss is still annoying but ill repurpose this device elsewhere but as a primary sound tvmovie speaker its no bueno
