Installation is a breeze little to no knowledge of networking is required though its helpful in order to understand whats goingon and the seamless setup of free web monitoring through the included dns service is a huge plus

The picture and video is pretty darn good considering its just a 300k pixel camera as are most in this and lower price ranges and the motion sensor really will email you a photo when something triggers it if youve set it up to do so

If youve got a wealth of networking knowledge and a skinny wallet you can buy the lesscostly brandx ip cameras setup your own free dynamic dns account open the ports on your router copy the ip addresses from one place to another and piecemeal it all together or you can spend a little more and let the panasonic camera and the included software do it all for you
