The bag i have pictured is a 40l duffel bag. There is still a little room inside the net if i needed to shove a few more things inside. The product envelops the bag in a wire mesh, my bag is 35l so the mesh is bulky but can be cinched down real good.

Pull draw cable to tightest setting and lock it. Using an extra lock to cinch that part seems to do the trick.

It comes with a carry bag that folds in half and is held by velcro. Repacking:1) draw mesh into a long tight bundle. Stuff end of mesh bundle into pouch at least 1/3 of the way.

Cons

The holes in the mesh are quite large. A thief still has full access to my backpack's zippers, or could easily cut through the fabric of the bag. Comes nowhere near fitting an osprey 55l back pack.
