    It does give a relatively accurate measurement of sustained usage but for things with compressors like a mini fridge the wattage surge when it kicks on is not really measured unless it stays high for a few seconds

    The readings are very accurate although the screen is a bit difficult to read at an angle

    The unit itself draws about 1015 watts itself so if your goal is to reduce power consumption it might be better to plug it in just once to test an appliance rather than leave it plugged in
