Pros & Cons

Pros

Love the feel and balance in the hand. Even prefer it over my large 8 inch wustoff. Of course oxo no longer makes my dream knife and this is the closest they carry. This little knife is just perfect for their smaller hands.

Knifer is comfortable to use and is sharp. Question is how long will this sharpness remain. Sharp enough to cut cabbage and tomatoes. Handle is very comfortable to hold, and sllightly tacky for gripping.

Cons

The handle is a harder material, it is thinner. It's not suitable for cleaving. This version has much thinner metal and the handle is very light-weight.

I have another chef knife that can cleanly cut free standing magazine paper. However, i seriously doubt even a professional knife sharpener could do much with this. I have a serrated dollar store knife that performs better than this.

The quality is really a disappointment. It is way over priced. This is a 3 dollar knife being sold for 11 bucks and some change.
