It's held up through many, many uses without any of the material peeling or deforming. Slats instead of holes seems to catch less food so that's nice. I use it for dried peas,rinsing,and the peas don't fall through the drainage holes.

Sturdy, good quality and an affordable price. It's very sturdy and holds everything i put in it.

I like that it also has sturdy black handles that provide good grip when transporting. I like the rubberized handles as it makes it easy to hold onto.

Food stuck in the crevices are easy to remove when washed. Stuff slides out with no sticking so well that it goes in the dishwasher virtually clean already. Fits well in dishwasher.

Oxo colander is a fantastic buy at this price, and well worth the money. Worth the trade off though. Definitely worth the purchase for me.

This colander is not wide enough to stay upright in the sink. Even the label says it's 3 quarts. Beware of this seller and their bogus return policy.
