Rather than this minor “shortcoming” i’m happy with the tray
I didnt think id bother with the cover but it is nice to be able to stack things on top
Packaging/appearance
I’m not a fan of moon shaped ice cubes but the shape makes them much easier to remove from the mold
Best tray out of the bunch i bought

Cover is not water tight so you have to be careful not to overfill the tray

And the size and shape allows lots of ice as they move freely in a glass without bunching up also due to rounded edges

Run the underside under warm water to loosen the cubes and lid otherwise it is hard to open

These are nice that you can stack these on top of each other in the freezer but the lid doesnt create an airtight seal so if you accidentally tip it before it freezes solid it leaks

Also the tray itself cannot be twisted to aid in the popping out of the ice cubes you have to push on one end of the cube itself to get it to slide out
