At first i tried to wrap the wires around the screw connectors but the white wire proved to be nearly impossible to do since i only have two hands.

Update: amazon would not allow me to return the defective part but ovitech reached out to me and is going to replace it.

So when i found that one socket seems to be blocked and not allow you to plug anything into it i was surprised.

My recommendation is if you get these is to try all the sockets first to make sure they are not defective.

I like the fact that these have usb charges in them, but the regular outlet plugs themselves don’t go in easy - you have to force them.
