M weiland's outlining your novel is a guide to outlining a novel. There is a workbook as well that can help you outline your novel using all that she covers in this book. Weiland explains the two types of outliner and pantser.

These lists make it easy to locate useful (or missing) steps in putting together one’s own custom planning method. Blessings and honor to you k. Very quick shipping as well.

Cons

While solid enough hits in their day not exactly timeless classics that are familiar to all and not exactly paragons of structure either. Of all the things this book harps on about, outlining isn't one of them!

It's counterproductive to fill your head with empty calories. It's the literary equivalent of drinking gravel. Then why use it as your example for god sakes? Lots of shoulds and very little substance.

She hits a lot of useful points but the presentation is dull. Crucial elements are often elided over. Her examples don't succeed in giving the reader a strong sense of how impactful the concepts she uses are.
