This is a lot quicker than the portable air that I use for my tires. It does get a little noisy when the compressor kicks on but for the 10 minutes it runs its doable. What was 20 minutes to fill up my paddle board is now 10 - 12 minutes. Easy to use and compact.  Read Less

Love this pump. This is my second season using it and it works as good as the day I got it. Easy to use and set the pressure anywhere from 1psi to 20psi. It fills up my 12'6x29x6 touring board to 20psi in about 10-12 mins. With the manual pump, it took me nearly 15 mins to reach 16psi and it took significant arm energy which I would have rather spent paddling. I can spend the time preparing my other gear, helping a friend unload, or chatting with my paddle buddies while the pump does the hard work, which is a wonderful change. I also have a better inflated board which is stiffer and more efficient on the water. I keep the manual pump with my board as a backup, but I have not needed it once since getting this pump. I also have a battery pack/solar generator that will run it so I can paddle very remote areas far from the car, or take it camping. Deflate mode also works well, but I do not usually use it. Highly recommend getting this arm saving pump, especially if your board can be inflated beyond 15psi. Also works for kayaks and other inflatables and comes with an assortment of nozzles so you can pump up almost anything. I did have one nozzle break, but parts were easy to find directly from the manufacturer at a reasonable price, so I could replace it quickly with no significant downtime. Buying a second set of nozzles to keep as a backup is not a bad idea since this is the most likely failure point and this could save your day if you get it stuck in a car door like I did. It is also a very popular pump, so if you paddle with groups with other inflatables there is a good chance you can share parts in an emergency. I have also used it to inflate the leading edge and strut on my wing to 7psi in a couple minutes and without issue. For wings, you just need to take it slow until the bladders are stretched out by turning the pump off for 20 seconds or so at certain intervals to adjust position and give time for expansion to occur so the bladders don't get crimped. If you want to spend a little less, the Dolphin pump by the same manufacturer is also a good option(my friend has it) if you don't mind a slower pumping rate.  Read Less
