Pros
Down cap is as comfy-cozy-warm as i hoped it would be. My daughter say it looks like a poop emoji on my head, but i say it feels warm. Fantastic to use with a sleeping quilt.
I hate wool hats that always itch and this is perfect.
Used on denali in minus 40 temps, on 8000 meter peaks. Pulls easily down over my ears when it's really cold. I now keep it in my briefcase for emergency warmth.

And in the case of a sm on a smaller head it fits tight so it doesnt look like you are wearing a poofy down jacket wrapped around your head

It is hard to guess the size for this because youre not talking about hat sizes circumference at your brow but instead a circumference from your brow to below your ears
