I bring that up because a real sun protection item of any sort has to pay for a spf rating and it’s a lot of money

That’s why a “rated” hat like this costs so much more than the “sun hats” from china that most likely have not been certified as most likely they don’t have actual spf certification

Theres absolutely nothing i can say negative about my multicam sombriolet hat ive used it for over 5 years in direct sunlight heat rain smashed and folded in loaded bags had sweat and grime
