Pros

The built in hood is large enough to fit a helmet or bulky winter headwear. My one complaint is the zipper.

Just finished a 4 day/ 3 night backpacking trip on the ouachita trail in arkansas. Jacket is lightweight so it packs nicely for backpacking trips. Extremely lightweight and provides and excellent wind barrier.

Have used this jacket on 3 continents from cold rain in brazil to salt water spray and cool evenings in belize. First rain jacket i have ever gotten compliments on, including from other men. Perfect for spring / summer night chills in va.

Rainproof and stylish. This keeps you dry - and doesn't feel clammy at all.

The materials are top notch and the seams look flawless. Fit and construction are impeccable. Very well made and a no frills shell.

Ive had this jacket for a coue seasons now and am happy with the purchase

It fits great and breathes extremely well even with the generous waist to armpit zips

Taking into consideration the hot sauce color is 85 more on amazon im sticking with the diablo

Not a good outer layer in cold weather about 0 f or colder even with the vents open moisture collected and froze in the upper back area

Competitiveness

It is a goretex product which is great

But i wanted a looser fitting one for everyday wear so i got a xlarge one too

So i set out to find the lightest and cheapest paclite goretex shell on the market

I had gone away from goretex due to the expense
