These are made for rugged hikes/hunting/backpacking. Excellent for snowshoeing. I use these gaiters for mountaineering.

These really are the gold standard for gaiters. Unless i lose them expect they will last a lifetime. I truly believe that these are probably the best money can buy.

O r gaiters are much more substantial and heavier than the rmh. Outstanding craftsmanship and material selection as expected from o r. Light, durable, functional.

Xxl snug but workable. The gaters fit snug around the boot and my calves, which is how i want them. The height is sort of adjustable with the under-foot strap.

I am very disgruntled to say that they are a terrible product. This product *! Had to tape them on. I am shocked that a company like outdoor research would use such terrible metal materials in what is supposed to be a high-end-gaiter.
