The mesh material has such a sheen that any light causes glare that can effectively blind the wearer. It's a little short, not keeping the mosquitos from getting under the bottom then trapped in your face.

You get used to eating or drinking with the mesh on that is flicking it away before bringing something to your mouth becomes a reflex after a bit of use

Make sure the draw string at the bottom is tight against your collarclothing so nothing gets in from below
