The screen is turned down all the way and brightness auto is turned off and even with a cheap screen save it is very easy to see in bright sunlight

It says it is waterproof but when you open the back to insert the sdcard or change the battery you see the small soft rubberish foam seal doesnt fit or line up well so dont expect it to play well with water
