Pros
It amplifies sounds well. Great for identifying the source of those pesky noises. The quality of the item is good and i do not foresee it breaking prematurely.
Cons

A screwdriver or metal rod is ok but this stethoscope actually isolates the sound and magnifies it

I have it about a year and a half and while i still use it all the time and still think its great the steel probe has a very fine thread or goes into plastic or something where when you take it out it seems that you have to thread it back in forever till it catches

I purchased this chiefly because of the megaphone attachment which i use far more often than the probe tip which is only useful in a few situations
