You have to stand there and hold the cover on hold the machine as the darn thing just moves all over cover just sucks and the motor body and i am sure the insides are just really cheep buy more expensive one not worth if you use it a lot

It comes apart so that you can put everything in the dishwasher easily however if washing by hand the glass container is quite contoured and has lots of edges to try to work around
