Bought it for a monster hunter limited edition psp. Original sony manufactured battery from my psp from when i bought it new in 2009 still works strong and has not swollen. Works well for 2001-3001 series psp.

The battery is just bad, i am sorry that sony doesn't make replacements anymore. It isn't like the original batteries that you can just basically flick and they come out like butter, that thing was stuck.
