I love ospreys packs but was just a little disappointed by the kinda of chintzy padding in the shoulder straps

The bottle holsters have kind of annoying strap placement having clip closures would have been a lot better

And the left straps hiking pole loop was kind of annoying the plastic occasionally scraped my skin and it would have been a lot better if it was removable

First the exterior front pocket is good for a raincoat or other larger item but because the pocket does not fully zip closed items can fall out and are not fully protected if it rains

Second it does not come with a rain cover although you can buy an excellent osprey rain cover from amazon for 15

Finally the hip belt is too short for the ml pack it fits me fine in summer but once i put on a down vest or jacket the hip belt is too short
