My only negative was the habitat seemed a bit small as there ended up being so many “pupa carcasses” and bug poo everywhere, it made it hard to watch them through the plastic.

Today my third order from insect lore arrived via fedex and the contents of the package were mostly destroyed.

The tube that contained the bugs was broken and empty, and i'm sure the distinct thud i heard from the carrier literally tossing the box onto my porch didn't help.

I then purchased the butterfly kit and had it sent to her mother's house and they have both really enjoyed watching the caterpillars and are excited about releasing the butterflies.

If you're considering getting one for your child then i highly recommend you do; it is a wonderful experience that no game, movie or app could ever provide.

The only thing that i don't like is that the actual lady bugs cost an additional $7.
