Ive tried 3 separate cables including an apple cable and still have the issuei dont know if this is an issue with this product itself or if the ipad doesnt like not being plugged without the 3pin adaptor but it renders my ipad basically unusable while charging if i use the usb port which is what i bought this for so will have to revert to using a 3pin socket price at time of review £27
