Construction is sturdy and couplings held up ok. Despite hundreds of acres of slough, river, creek bank, etc. The sprinkler appears sturdy despite many plastic parts.

Orbit sprinkler works well keeping deer away from my apple trees and shrubs. Works to keep the cats off my lawn. We have about 25 peacocks that pass through our property daily. The males like to * at our windows constantly.

Cons

For this price it only sprinkle. It leaks from every possible place it can. Over time i foresee it damaging itself.

Hoont has poor sensing of cats and coyotes. Animals still pop in my yard because the sensor have delay. Unreliable and inadequate sensing of deer.

The sensor is sometimes less than 4 feet from them at eye level. Nothing sets it off unless they make a sudden quick move. Only see the cars. Sensor light only works 2 ft away sometimes.
