Pros
Uhd30 refurbished from amazon is an amazing steal. Makes for very immersive 4k gaming. It adds a little rim around the person.
The only negative i noticed is that the zoom on this projector is a pretty narrow range. They say that it doesn't have lens shift but it is in the menu and appears to work.
Blutooth connectivity for sound. It has output for sound that i could use with a blutooth transmitter. You need to mute the audio by plugging in a 3.
Brightest of the three brightness modes. Works very well in ambient light environment. There is a bulb timer in the settings. Not as bright as my casio qled but much preferred for the 120 inches of screen.
Cons
White dots ruin the viewing experience on any tv show or movie. It is very disappointing to have a permanent constellation on screen. Lots of tearing and flickering when changing between stream qualities or inputs.
Three dead pixels by july 2021. They reset it at the factory. It's now december of 2021 and my fourth dead pixel just popped up.
Have to unplug 2x before it will boot again and only with no source attached. Amp; was quoted $599 for the part, but it's not in stock.

Competitiveness
Very happy with my second optoma projector
Keep in mind you can choose either 60hz 4k or 240hz 1080p you cannot do 4k faster than 60hz but that is aok for me
Anyway it looked bright and clear enough when i used it though i could only test at 30hz as i dont have a 60hz source

Fairly sure the projector still works but decided to to upgrade instead of replace the bulb

The sound would only come out if the projector unless the internal speaker was muted

However when muted an icon is displayed in the top right corner showing it is muted and does not go away

Unfortunately it has the split screen problem at startup but it can be resolved with the latest software update
