I got this for my new canon t3i dslr camera and i am loving it
Looks like a cheap knockoff of the rode videomic directional video condenser microphone wmount
In fact i think this is in fact a rebranded rode mic as it reminds me very much of an older rode videomic product

Works as advertised make sure to lower in camera microphone volume input in order to reduce the noise

I put on a weekly video game review show called 16 bit white guys and while for our actual show we use a yeti usb microphone we needed a mic for our on location shots at conventions and other areas where a usb mic doesnt work

This mic works great in interview situations definitely picks up a more directional range than the onboard camera mic however it is not great with bass
