Huge boost but even with the addition of the cooling pad it didnt completley solve the thermal throttle which i was led to believe by all the reviews

This is exactly what i needed for my laptop but the drawbacks are that my charger goes exactly where this fan is so i cannot use the permanent mount and the other one really doesnt work well at all

The fan falls off regularly when i have to move my laptop from room to room and it has fallen several times

The fan keeps working but sadly the little piece that holds it on the one that is temporary has broken so now i have to fight to get it to stay where it needs to be

What made me think its a success is that it doesnt show thermal throttling anymore on intel monitor when it says yes 100 of the time before

An added benefit of this device is that it saves my laptop from heatsoak after i shut it down as the automatic mode keeps cooling the laptop by pulling cooling air through the laptop after its internal cooling fan shuts down something i had previously considered
