Negatively the hinge is quite loose as is the locking ring and it does not always remain reliably open

I suspect if it got damp and the wood swelled a little that problem would go away but that is probably not quite the idea

Really if you are going to go for a knife then you wont be disapointed in this

I have put a 5 star as the product is so good but amazon really let it down with useless packaging and broken box
