Perhaps not as durable, but definitely more flexible than the kata elements cover i bought 12 years ago, but given how cheap these are that really isn't an issue.

The bag creates a bit of glare on the screen so it's not easy to review the pictures with the sleeve on, which makes it very annoying because you have to lift it a bit to see and then you risk getting water inside.

Considerably better than a plain polythene bag or sheet for a diy emergency approach and at the price asked not worth the effort of attempting too produce your own version.
