The front of the case is raised abit so that even if the phone was dropped on a flat surface it wouldnt scratch the screen

It protects the entire phone so even when you drop it screen down the chance of getting a shattered screen is lower than the hard cases as those dont protect the front edge of the screen

The only thing is that i hadnt expected the back to the covered in the sense that the original sandstone texture from my phone was concealed away by a finer texture of the case

Its not a big deal for me i was just surprised i think it was just me so its nothing against the product itself
