It says it should hold a tablet but honestly i doubt that the magnet would be strong enough but it works great for a phone

I have a really thin case on my phone so the magnet works but when i put a thicker case it wasnt strong enough to hold my phone up and it would just drop

I have the note 4 and i watch a lot of youtube on it and the lack of a kickstand makes it difficult to properly enjoy it

I would recommend that if your phone case is on the thicker side to use the plate with the adhesive on the back because the plate that goes between the phone and phone case might not be strong enough
