Pros

This lens is a must have for photographers who look for character in their lenses. It is small enough to make your m4/3 camera jacket-pocketable. The lens is slightly overpriced in my opinion but given the small number of available options at this max...  Read More

Focal length is optimal for street photography and thus black and white photos. Adds a very real life feel to your captures and has the quality we crave. I'm not sure how it performs when shooting test charts, but out on the street i'm getting beautif...  Read More

This lens delivers stunning sharpness and quality in almost every shot. If you are a raw shooter google for the best sharpness settings in fx lightroom or photoshop, with this lens it matters. It's not quite as sharp as i would like for the price.

Quality

The build quality is outstanding from its metal body to the smoothness of the automanual focus ring

Build quality is as usual for zuiko lenses excellent

Very similar outcome with the olympus and this lens

This all might have to do with the focal length thoughmaybe i just would have preferred a nifty fiften lens

Price

I am also sure that i can use 15mm but the higher price drove me to this lens

Shipping

Shipping was incredibly fast and the lens is better than described

Prosfocus is lightning fast rarely misses focus on first pass

It’s not weather sealed and because it so fast f1

Competitiveness

One of my favorite lens for my oly omd em5 mk ii

8 lens as an upgrade to my 17mm f2

I vote with all the other 5star reviewers

That lost my apetite for 12mm f 2
