Pros

Fits perfectly and snugly. Fits very snug, so no worrying about it coming loose.

No more flaring when shooting into the sun. It reverses well on the lens.

Works perfectly but should come with the lens

My only reservation is that like my better nikon lenses it should have come with the 75mm 300mm lens

It is vastly enormously hideously overpriced and it should certainly have been included at no charge with the lens

Just a pity that olympus do not package it with the lens it is most definitally needed shooting into the sun

The lens hood does exactly what it should and it came fast so cant complain from that position
