Quality
This a a good quality knife and comes in a nice box.
Serves it's purpose, good quality & used a lot on my boat or when splicing.
Quality is pretty damn good (there are some grinding marks on the blade edge that i can remove myself)).
Packaging/appearance
I needed a mariner style knife that i would not care if it ended up in the fingerlakes.
Competitiveness
Quickly resolved with a few minutes of dremmel tool adjusting and re-polishing.

Blade has a very slight wobble, but if the blade was tighter in the bolsters, it would be difficult to open.

Sheepsfoot blades don't need to lock and if you think so you're using it wrong.

Also, as mentioned before dull the marlin spike with a file and it will work for knots.

The issue with the picture is that the grip on this knife is not as it appears.

I suggest to the manufacturer to blunt the end of the spike, as the needle point is not appropriate for precision rope work.

The only exception is the blade doesn't lock.
