You need to remove those split pins every time you want to access the battery to charge it – once you are used to it it only takes about 2030 seconds to get the battery out

Sometimes when replacing the battery the battery cover will not close with one of the plastic clips straining

The reason it won’t close is that the battery cover is on backtofront
